41fbdd4524 EDAC/igen6: Fix conversion of system address to physical memory address
commit 0ad875f442e95d69a1145a38aabac2fd29984fe3 upstream.

The conversion of system address to physical memory address (as viewed by
the memory controller) by igen6_edac is incorrect when the system address
is above the TOM (Total amount Of populated physical Memory) for Elkhart
Lake and Ice Lake (Neural Network Processor). Fix this conversion.

7d77159149 EDAC/synopsys: Fix error injection on Zynq UltraScale+
[ Upstream commit 35e6dbfe1846caeafabb49b7575adb36b0aa2269 ]

The Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC DDR has a disjoint memory from 2GB to 32GB.
The DDR host interface has a contiguous memory so while injecting
errors, the driver should remove the hole else the injection fails as
the address translation is incorrect.

Introduce a get_mem_info() function pointer and set it for Zynq
UltraScale+ platform to return host address.

a8d9917193 EDAC/synopsys: Fix ECC status and IRQ control race condition
[ Upstream commit 591c946675d88dcc0ae9ff54be9d5caaee8ce1e3 ]

The race condition around the ECCCLR register access happens in the IRQ
disable method called in the device remove() procedure and in the ECC IRQ
handler:

  1. Enable IRQ:
     a. ECCCLR = EN_CE | EN_UE
  2. Disable IRQ:
     a. ECCCLR = 0
  3. IRQ handler:
     a. ECCCLR = CLR_CE | CLR_CE_CNT | CLR_CE | CLR_CE_CNT
     b. ECCCLR = 0
     c. ECCCLR = EN_CE | EN_UE

So if the IRQ disabling procedure is called concurrently with the IRQ
handler method the IRQ might be actually left enabled due to the
statement 3c.

The root cause of the problem is that ECCCLR register (which since
v3.10a has been called as ECCCTL) has intermixed ECC status data clear
flags and the IRQ enable/disable flags. Thus the IRQ disabling (clear EN
flags) and handling (write 1 to clear ECC status data) procedures must
be serialised around the ECCCTL register modification to prevent the
race.

So fix the problem described above by adding the spin-lock around the
ECCCLR modifications and preventing the IRQ-handler from modifying the
IRQs enable flags (there is no point in disabling the IRQ and then
re-enabling it again within a single IRQ handler call, see the
statements 3a/3b and 3c above).

6d0d9f0fd1 EDAC, i10nm: make skx_common.o a separate module
[ Upstream commit 123b158635505c89ed0d3ef45c5845ff9030a466 ]

Commit 598afa050403 ("kbuild: warn objects shared among multiple modules")
was added to track down cases where the same object is linked into
multiple modules. This can cause serious problems if some modules are
builtin while others are not.

That test triggers this warning:

scripts/Makefile.build:236: drivers/edac/Makefile: skx_common.o is added to multiple modules: i10nm_edac skx_edac

Make this a separate module instead.

728b663f5e EDAC/igen6: Convert PCIBIOS_* return codes to errnos
commit f8367a74aebf88dc8b58a0db6a6c90b4cb8fc9d3 upstream.

errcmd_enable_error_reporting() uses pci_{read,write}_config_word()
that return PCIBIOS_* codes. The return code is then returned all the
way into the probe function igen6_probe() that returns it as is. The
probe functions, however, should return normal errnos.

Convert PCIBIOS_* returns code using pcibios_err_to_errno() into normal
errno before returning it from errcmd_enable_error_reporting().

9dbac9fdae EDAC/thunderx: Fix possible out-of-bounds string access
[ Upstream commit 475c58e1a471e9b873e3e39958c64a2d278275c8 ]

Enabling -Wstringop-overflow globally exposes a warning for a common bug
in the usage of strncat():

  drivers/edac/thunderx_edac.c: In function 'thunderx_ocx_com_threaded_isr':
  drivers/edac/thunderx_edac.c:1136:17: error: 'strncat' specified bound 1024 equals destination size [-Werror=stringop-overflow=]
   1136 |                 strncat(msg, other, OCX_MESSAGE_SIZE);
        |                 ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   ...
   1145 |                                 strncat(msg, other, OCX_MESSAGE_SIZE);
   ...
   1150 |                                 strncat(msg, other, OCX_MESSAGE_SIZE);

   ...

Apparently the author of this driver expected strncat() to behave the
way that strlcat() does, which uses the size of the destination buffer
as its third argument rather than the length of the source buffer. The
result is that there is no check on the size of the allocated buffer.

Change it to strlcat().

d5fc7d6813 EDAC/igen6: Fix the issue of no error events
[ Upstream commit ce53ad81ed36c24aff075f94474adecfabfcf239 ]

Current igen6_edac checks for pending errors before the registration
of the error handler. However, there is a possibility that the error
occurs during the registration process, leading to unhandled pending
errors and no future error events. This issue can be reproduced by
repeatedly injecting errors during the loading of the igen6_edac.

Fix this issue by moving the pending error handler after the registration
of the error handler, ensuring that no pending errors are left unhandled.

fec79e4f7d EDAC/qcom: Get rid of hardcoded register offsets
[ Upstream commit cbd77119b6355872cd308a60e99f9ca678435d15 ]

The LLCC EDAC register offsets varies between each SoC. Hardcoding the
register offsets won't work and will often result in crash due to
accessing the wrong locations.

Hence, get the register offsets from the LLCC driver matching the
individual SoCs.

4b3ec6b6ff qcom: llcc/edac: Fix the base address used for accessing LLCC banks
[ Upstream commit ee13b5008707948d3052c1b5aab485c6cd53658e ]

The Qualcomm LLCC/EDAC drivers were using a fixed register stride for
accessing the (Control and Status Registers) CSRs of each LLCC bank.
This stride only works for some SoCs like SDM845 for which driver
support was initially added.

But the later SoCs use different register stride that vary between the
banks with holes in-between. So it is not possible to use a single register
stride for accessing the CSRs of each bank. By doing so could result in a
crash.

For fixing this issue, let's obtain the base address of each LLCC bank from
devicetree and get rid of the fixed stride. This also means, there is no
need to rely on reg-names property and the base addresses can be obtained
using the index.

First index is LLCC bank 0 and last index is LLCC broadcast. If the SoC
supports more than one bank, then those need to be defined in devicetree
for index from 1..N-1.

[ Upstream commit 721d3e91bfc93975c5e1a76c7d588dd8df5d82da ]

Not all Qcom platforms support IRQ mode for ECC handling. For those
platforms, the current EDAC driver will not be probed due to missing ECC
IRQ in devicetree.

So add support for polling mode so that the EDAC driver can be used on all
Qcom platforms supporting LLCC.

The polling delay of 5000ms is chosen based on Qcom downstream/vendor
driver.

6006310a47 EDAC/skx: Fix overflows on the DRAM row address mapping arrays
[ Upstream commit 71b1e3ba3fed5a34c5fac6d3a15c2634b04c1eb7 ]

The current DRAM row address mapping arrays skx_{open,close}_row[]
only support ranks with sizes up to 16G. Decoding a rank address
to a DRAM row address for a 32G rank by using either one of the
above arrays by the skx_edac driver, will result in an overflow on
the array.

For a 32G rank, the most significant DRAM row address bit (the
bit17) is mapped from the bit34 of the rank address. Add this new
mapping item to both arrays to fix the overflow issue.

6f0351d0c3 EDAC/qcom: Do not pass llcc_driv_data as edac_device_ctl_info's pvt_info
commit 977c6ba624f24ae20cf0faee871257a39348d4a9 upstream.

The memory for llcc_driv_data is allocated by the LLCC driver. But when
it is passed as the private driver info to the EDAC core, it will get freed
during the qcom_edac driver release. So when the qcom_edac driver gets probed
again, it will try to use the freed data leading to the use-after-free bug.

Hence, do not pass llcc_driv_data as pvt_info but rather reference it
using the platform_data pointer in the qcom_edac driver.

ea27cc3245 EDAC/mc_sysfs: Increase legacy channel support to 12
commit 25836ce1df827cb4830291cb2325067efb46753a upstream.

Newer AMD systems, such as Genoa, can support up to 12 channels per EDAC
"mc" device. These are detected by the device's EDAC module, and the
current EDAC interface is properly enumerated. However, the legacy EDAC
sysfs interface provides device attributes only for channels 0 to 7.
Therefore, channels 8 to 11 will not be visible in the legacy interface.
This was overlooked in the initial support for AMD Genoa.

Add additional device attributes so that up to 12 channels are visible
in the legacy EDAC sysfs interface.

acd4cf68fe EDAC/i10nm: Retrieve and print retry_rd_err_log registers for HBM
An HBM memory channel is divided into two pseudo channels. Each
pseudo channel has its own retry_rd_err_log registers. Retrieve and
print retry_rd_err_log registers of the HBM pseudo channel if the
memory error is from HBM.

2738c69a88 EDAC/i10nm: Add driver decoder for Ice Lake and Tremont CPUs
Current i10nm_edac only supports firmware decoder (ACPI DSM methods).
MCA bank registers of Ice Lake or Tremont CPUs contain the information
to decode DDR memory errors. To get better decoding performance, add
the driver decoder (decoding DDR memory errors via extracting error
information from MCA bank registers) for Ice Lake and Tremont CPUs.

fe32f36693 EDAC/skx_common: Use driver decoder first
The performance of driver decoder[1] is better than the performance
of firmware decoder[2], especially on frequent correctable errors.

So use the driver decoder first, fall back to firmware decoder if
the driver decoder is unavailable. Also rename the function pointer
skx_decode to driver_decode (better name to contrast with adxl_decode).

[1] Decode errors by extracting error information from registers of
    memory controllers and/or MCA bank registers.

[2] Decode errors by calling ACPI DSM methods.

  cleanups based on the review of a number of common patterns in GPLv2
  boilerplate text.

  Also included in here are a few other minor updates, two USB files,
  and one Documentation file update to get the SPDX lines correct.

  All of these have been in the linux-next tree for a very long time"

c4cd52ab1e EDAC/ghes: Set the DIMM label unconditionally
commit 5e2805d537 upstream.

The commit

  cb51a371d0 ("EDAC/ghes: Setup DIMM label from DMI and use it in error reports")

enforced that both the bank and device strings passed to
dimm_setup_label() are not NULL.

However, there are BIOSes, for example on a

  HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10/ProLiant DL360 Gen10, BIOS U32 03/15/2019

which don't populate both strings:

  Handle 0x0020, DMI type 17, 84 bytes
  Memory Device
          Array Handle: 0x0013
          Error Information Handle: Not Provided
          Total Width: 72 bits
          Data Width: 64 bits
          Size: 32 GB
          Form Factor: DIMM
          Set: None
          Locator: PROC 1 DIMM 1        <===== device
          Bank Locator: Not Specified <===== bank

This results in a buffer overflow because ghes_edac_register() calls
strlen() on an uninitialized label, which had non-zero values left over
from krealloc_array():

The label contains garbage because the commit in Fixes reallocs the
DIMMs array while scanning the system but doesn't clear the newly
allocated memory.

Change dimm_setup_label() to always initialize the label to fix the
issue. Set it to the empty string in case BIOS does not provide both
bank and device so that ghes_edac_register() can keep the default label
given by edac_mc_alloc_dimms().

bce02f71e4 EDAC/ppc_4xx: Include required of_irq header directly
Commit 4d5c5bad51 ("powerpc: Remove asm/prom.h from asm/mpc52xx.h
and asm/pci.h") that cleans up powerpc's asm/prom.h leads to build
errors in ppc4xx_edac.c due to missing header. Include required
header directly to avoid the build failure.

4bcffe9417 EDAC/synopsys: Re-enable the error interrupts on v3 hw
zynqmp_get_error_info() writes 0 to the ECC_CLR_OFST register after
an interrupt for a {un-,}correctable error is raised, which disables
the error interrupts. Then the interrupt handler will be called only
once. Therefore, re-enable the error interrupt line at the end of
intr_handler() for v3.x Synopsys EDAC DDR.
