Describe the issue
Jellyfin Server still works properly on Windows 7, but the Tray App does not run.
When I try to open it, it immediately shows an error message and closes.
Expected behavior
It would be great if the Tray App could also work on Windows 7, or at least have a simpler version for it, since the main server itself still runs without any problems.
Why this matters
Some users still use Jellyfin on older computers as home media servers, and a working Tray App would make it much easier to manage and monitor the server.
@Shadowghost commented on GitHub (Oct 25, 2025):
Windows 7 is an EOL operating system we and .NET are not supporting (anymore).
