Hello, we all know that on android devices it is possible to set playback via external player in jellyfin. When playing via the web or via a Windows application, it is no longer possible to set playback via an external player. Add the function of playing through an external player through a Windows application. If I play the video through an external player, I don't have to wait for the video to be transcoded.
@crobibero commented on GitHub (Feb 7, 2025):
https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-mpv-shim

Both of these clients support playback without transcoding using an "external" player.
