Hi guys!

So I have Proxmox 6.x working decently enough on an older HP G4 Mini (6400T). I have there a Jellyfin LXC container, and it can transcode through VAAPI (although I didn manage QuickSync back in the day).
So now I am trying with a newer HP G5 Mini with a 9500T, on Proxmox v7.1.x.
Just as described in the guide, I installed the intel-media-va-driver-nonfree and vainfo, both on the server and in the container, and changed the container's .conf to allow the cgroup2 and add the mounts as described (literal copy/paste, as the GIDs do match with mine if check them on /dev/dri).
I added the user jellyfin to video, render and input. However I can see /dev/dri/renderD128 belonging to root:### syslog and /dev/dri/card0 to root:video
...should I add user jellyfin to syslog?

Basically, when I attempt to play anything that requires ANY modification, transcoding, transmuxing...anything, it crashes.
The error I can see with a x265 stream is this, I think:
Device creation failed: -542398533.
Which I think is very non-descriptive...I can't find anything about it. Here's the full log:

Ooops. Ok, I guess I can leave this for posterity, but just adding jellyfin to syslog group did indeed fix it. So..there's that.
Now, I'm seeing in htop all 4 assigned cores taking 25% CPU while an x265 movie is being transcoded to x264. Is this normal? Shouldn't a CPU of this generation have much lower levels, being capable of handling like 16 encodes simultaneusly without so much of a stutter?

EDIT: Well nevermind, Playing 12 simultaneous 1080p x265 transcode I was near 80% CPU cycles on 4 cores (this CPU has actually 6, but only 4 assigned at the moment). I guess it can indeed reach 16 no prob on the 6 cores, but it will get...hot I guess.
